Dr. Seuss Week and the Letter C

As you see the post below, we are busy with Dr. Seuss week.
On Monday, we read And to Think that I Saw It on Mulberry Street and each child drew a picture of what they saw on "Lamar Street". Mary Elizabeth said, she saw a big treasure box, bats, and mice on her way to school.
Today, we read The Cat in the Hat and tried to sneak up on him in the room! He is so hard to catch but the week is not over!!
As for Miss Alpha-ca-pillar, she is back and sassy as ever. She introduced our letter of the week and is now in Costa Rica. She went by car to the circus where she will be eating coconuts. Can you guess the letter of the week?

The Cat in the Hat is back!!!

the cat will be happy when he sees these great portraits of himself!

Nursery Rhymes and the Letter of the Week

tmlCreations on etsy

We have entered the land of Nursery Rhymes this week. We started by the clock and watched the mouse run up it as it struck one, next we tried to help the kittens find their mittens but to no avail, and lastly we wondered about the stars above us!!

As for the" Letter of the Week", Miss Alpha-ca-pillar went to Queensland, Australia via magic quilt to learn some quilting techniques. Can you guess the letter?
